The new waterproof membrane protects the rider from water entering above the ankle. Made with a forward-leaning shape to provide comfort and adaptability in the riding position, they also feature newly developed rubber protection on the inner and outer sides for maximum boot durability, protecting it from scuffs and tears caused by clutch friction against the motorcycle, as well as internal nylon protection on the toe, heel, shin and inner ankle, and injected, molded plastic protectors on the shin and heel, without sacrificing flexibility in the rear section and instep. Adjustable dual micro-closure with memory. Velcro closure at the top of the shin for improved adjustment, with a front plate featuring an air intake. 1.6 mm-thick leather reinforcement on the inner and outer sides of the shin.
