STELLAR 2 is Suomy’s new full-face helmet, featuring elegant, dynamic and high-performance lines—the unmistakable Suomy imprint—designed and developed in Italy using the most advanced digital technologies, and tested in a wind tunnel and on the road to deliver the best dynamic performance while riding. The two-shell-size outer shell is made of ADT-Advanced Thermoplastic, specially developed for E2206 homologation.
The Hydrocool interior is produced using the best technologies to ensure reliability, comfort and safety. Typical racing performance meets touring-sport performance to create an aerodynamic, versatile and comfortable helmet, with technical solutions suitable for every type of on-road adventure.
The shell is made of ADT-Advanced, a blend of thermoplastic resins with extremely high impact resistance, carefully developed to achieve ECE 2206 homologation. To meet the needs of the most demanding rider, STELLAR 2 is made with two different shell sizes (M and L).
The polystyrene inner shell is made in three sizes (S, M, L) for improved ergonomics and features variable densities.
This feature enables the gradual and progressive absorption of the energy generated by an impact. Although most of the energy created by an impact is absorbed by the outer shell through its deformation, polystyrene plays a fundamental role in absorbing the residual energy. Different polystyrene densities make it possible to optimise the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene system, ensuring the maximum level of absorption in all areas of the helmet, as required by the stringent ECE 2206 standard.
The visor is made of injection-moulded, scratch-resistant polycarbonate with variable thickness, and is easy to remove thanks to a tool-free system. The compact visor mechanism is designed to provide greater assembly strength. The visor is also equipped with a “Racing Lock System” locking mechanism (Pat. Pend.). This mechanism reduces the possibility of visor detachment in the event of an impact and allows more intuitive opening and closing.
Speedstar 2 is equipped with a large internal sun visor, featuring cable technology that ensures smooth movement via a button located on the edge of the shell, easily operated with the left hand.
STELLAR 2 is equipped with the recessed PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120 anti-fog system, the highest-performing system on the market.
It is during the hottest and most demanding rides that a helmet’s maximum performance is required. Being able to rely on an efficient ventilation system is crucial for maintaining the rider’s concentration at a high level.
STELLAR 2 features four air-intake ducts that work together with a perfectly integrated extraction-channel system, ensuring excellent airflow inside the helmet.
Hot-air extraction has been carefully designed: two embedded air extractors, together with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect that draws out the hot air inside the helmet.
The cheek pads and liner can be removed, washed and replaced.
They are made of high-quality Hydrocool fabric, which offers the following features:

The cheek pads can be easily removed in an emergency thanks to the quick-release system.
The chin strap is equipped with a quick-release system.
