STELLAR 2 is Suomy’s new full-face helmet, featuring elegant, dynamic and high-performance shapes—the unmistakable Suomy imprint—designed and developed in Italy using the most advanced digital technologies, tested in a wind tunnel and on the road to deliver the best dynamic performance while riding. The shell, available in 2 sizes, is made from ADT-Advanced Thermoplastic material, specifically developed to meet E2206 homologation requirements.
The Hydrocool interior is manufactured using the best technologies to ensure reliability, comfort and safety. The typical performance of the racing world combines with touring-sport characteristics to create an aerodynamic, versatile and comfortable helmet, featuring technical solutions suitable for every type of road adventure.
The shell is made from ADT-Advanced, a blend of thermoplastic resins with extremely high impact resistance, carefully developed to achieve ECE 2206 homologation. To meet the needs of the most demanding motorcyclist, STELLAR 2 is made with two different shell sizes (M and L).
The inner polystyrene shell is made in three sizes (S, M, L) to provide improved ergonomics and features variable densities.
This characteristic enables the gradual and progressive absorption of the energy generated by an impact. Although most of the energy created by the impact is absorbed by the outer shell through its deformation, the role of the polystyrene is fundamental in absorbing the remaining energy. Different polystyrene densities optimize the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene system, ensuring the highest level of absorption in all areas of the helmet, as required by the strict ECE 2206 standard.
The visor is made of injection-molded, scratch-resistant polycarbonate with variable thickness and is easy to remove thanks to a tool-free system. The compact visor mechanism is designed to provide greater assembly strength. The visor is also equipped with a “Racing Lock System” locking mechanism (patent pending). This mechanism reduces the possibility of visor detachment in the event of an impact and enables more intuitive opening and closing.
Speedstar 2 is equipped with a wide internal sun visor featuring cable technology that ensures smooth movement via a button located on the edge of the shell, easily operated with the left hand.
STELLAR 2 is equipped with the recessed PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120 anti-fog system, the highest-performing system on the market.
It is during the hottest and most demanding rides that maximum helmet performance is required; being able to rely on an efficient ventilation system is crucial for maintaining high levels of rider concentration.
STELLAR 2 features four air intake ducts that work in combination with a perfectly integrated extraction channel system, ensuring excellent airflow inside the helmet.
Hot-air extraction has been carefully engineered; two integrated air extractors, together with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect that draws out the hot air inside.
The cheek pads and liner can be removed, washed and replaced.
They are made from high-quality Hydrocool fabric, which offers the following features:

The cheek pads can be easily removed in an emergency thanks to the quick-release system.
The chin strap is equipped with a quick-release system.
