The lightweight upper is made of microfiber, a high-tech material designed to offer optimal abrasion resistance. Inserts on the instep, both front and back, ensure a snug and comfortable fit.
The Gaerne Floating Pivot System (GFPS) provides exceptional lateral support, preventing compression and hyperextension while allowing natural foot movement on the footpegs. The anatomical and replaceable PU Front Protection Plate guarantees optimal support and includes an interchangeable nylon front slider.
The closure system combines an internal zipper with an elastic insert around the ankle area, making it easier to put on the boot. Around the calf, a replaceable BOA Li2 dial allows for precise and personalized fit adjustment.
To enhance functionality, the PU gear shift protector maximizes sensitivity during gear changes while providing extra support for the toes. The rubber Grip Guard on the inner side not only increases grip with the bike but also protects the rider's leg from engine and exhaust heat.
Inside the boot, a breathable inner lining ensures comfort, while strategically placed padding around the ankle area, with varying thicknesses, provides optimal support during use.
The anatomical insole, removable and washable, offers full foot support for prolonged comfort.
The Gaerne sole is designed with specific grip zones and an integrated profile perfectly matched to the upper, ensuring exceptional traction on the footpegs and controls, as well as increased resistance to wear and abrasion from asphalt. Additionally, interchangeable magnesium sliders on the toe and heel facilitate sliding upon contact with the asphalt.
The GP1 LS boots are CE certified in accordance with the EN 13634:2017 standard and EU Regulation 2016/425.
