The Energyca Air Tex motorcycle jacket is designed for short- and medium-distance trips during the warmer months, offering excellent ergonomics and freedom of movement while wrapping around much of the body’s shape. This is achieved through its construction in highly abrasion-resistant Cordura Comfort stretch fabric, which works in synergy with the fit adjustments at the collar, waist, sleeves, and cuffs, as well as the jacket-to-trousers connection system. The Dainese Energyca jacket offers great versatility in temperature management, thanks to its removable windproof liner, useful for high-altitude sections or cooler days. Once removed, it allows the body to cool through the large air-mesh panels, featuring a more open weave at the front and a denser weave at the sides. Temperature regulation is further optimized by the breathable Nanofeel inner lining with silver-ion treatment. Maximum protection, derived from Dainese’s racing experience, comes in the form of removable composite protectors on the shoulders and elbows, certified according to the EN 1621.1 standard, and aluminum plates on the shoulders, designed to promote sliding in the event of an impact with the asphalt. Protection is further enhanced by pockets for the G1 and G2 back protectors and the Double Chest protector. Two external pockets and one internal pocket allow small items to be stored safely.
