This boot is born from the research and development center from the close collaboration with the piloti.offre solutions that are a concentrate of protection, attention to detail and comfort, produced in Italy. the collar is made of acronos material, characterized by high-strength fibers against abrasion and heat, but extremely elastic, which allow an unprecedented grip on the calf. Rubber grip to prevent the intrusion of foreign bodies, is made waterproof by special coating. the new one-piece stainless steel toe-cap is non-deformable and anti-rust. there have been obtained protrusions positioned perpendicular to the axis of the tip which have the function of protecting the screws used for fixing it so as to avoid any obstacle to rubbing and ensure at any time an easy replacement of the piece. The front has been given a special anti-slip finish. Also for the heel area has been designed a special conformation that has anti-shock functionality thanks to a decompression zone between the plastic and the upper. The special convex shape allows the rider to easily mesh with the heel in the starting phase. The foot area is entirely wrapped in plastic material already shaped that allows you to follow the anatomical shape of the foot giving the rider more comfort and sensitivity when changing gear. this protection is made of variable thickness and density in order to guarantee absolute safety in sensitive areas. The front end has a special shape that has anti-shock functionality thanks to a decompression zone between the plastic and the upper. Made more and anatomically shaped, has been designed to be adaptable to the needs of the rider who can decide to advance or tighten at will to personally manage the adherence to the calf or to make room for a possible knee brace. The movement can be both lateral and oblique. The closing system consists of four adjustable and interchangeable light-alloy levers with special extra inserts, which allow exceptional grip and four individually adjustable straps that guarantee a tailor-made adjustment for each user. On the inside, the quarter is almost completely covered by two inserts made of a special rubber that guarantees total adherence between the rider and the bike and has a strong resistance to abrasion. The covered surface is very wide in order to protect the boot from the heat given off by the muffler. in addition, the special rubber covers all the screws used for fixing. This revolutionary patented shape system provides for the movement of the axis of rotation of the boot in an advanced position and raised above the axis of rotation of the ankle thus allowing to eliminate any compression, particularly in the area of ​​the malleoli. The new protective element called "RazorBack" is anchored to the upper in two points: the first anchor is fixed at the point of rotation of the boot, while the second is fixed on a mobile buttonhole that facilitates the natural bending movement of the foot, providing a two-way stop in order to avoid unwanted extensions or compressions and to cushion any shocks. The "RazorBack" has been designed to be synergistic with the other elements of the boot and, thanks to a particular appendix that runs inside a special pocket, strongly limits the lateral movements that are one of the most frequent causes of injuries ; this synergy guarantees absolute protection throughout the back of the boot. "Memory cell interior foam", a soft "cell" covered with more foam that is molded around the foot and creates a comfortable environment giving stability to the foot without sacrificing comfort.
